With diplomatic service 1955-1986, served in Bucharest 1957-1958, Brussels 1958-1960, Panama City 1960-1964, London 1964-1967, Bangkok 1967-1969, Islamabad 1969-1973, Inspectorate 1974-1977, Consul General, Boston 1977-1980, Ambassador to Bulgaria 1980-1983, High Commission, in Barbados (also accredited to Saint Kitts/Nevis, Antigua/Barbuda, Dominica, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Grenada) 1983-1986.
