Devanur also has completed a Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School as well as an executive education program on “Building innovative products” at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is a member of the American Management Association.
Career
He has managed the development and maintenance of trading systems for Bank of America Securities Limited Liability Company.
He has a Masters degree in Technology Management from Columbia University in the United States. Devanur founded Ivega Corporation in 1997, an international niche Information Technology consulting company with a focus on financial services. He built Ivega into a 1000-employee organization before merging it with TCG software, which is a part of the TCG group.
The merged entity was named TCGIvega.
He exited out of the merged entity TCGIvega in 2006. Following this, Devanur created Gandhi City for Advanced Research and Development, which is meant to be India"s first and only Research Park spread over an area of 1000 acres near Bangalore.
Gandhi City has signed a partnership agreement with Research Triangular Park in North Carolina, United States of America. Gandhi City has attracted investments from Och-Ziff. In September 2010, Devanur founded Winhire Technologies Private
Limited. In April 2014, Amer1100 acquired Winhire Technologies Private
Limited and Devanur became Chief Executive Officer of Amer1100.
