Education
Takezawa learnt the art of playing the samisen from Harima Inoue.
Career
Takezawa kept accompaniment with the joruri of Ridayii Shimizu (later Gidayii Takemoto). Together with Saburobe Yoshida he joined Takemotoza Theater at Osaka in 1684.
