Appointed prosecutor of the Osaka Court of Appeals (1927), he became well known as the chief prosecutor in charge of the Shanghai Exchange Scandal of Tokuzo Shima. Also took part in the Matsushima gay quarters case.
He contracted typhoid fever and died while on an inspection tour of Manchukuo (1935).
