Gregory Bean

Mr. Bean was born in Rock Springs, Wyoming, United States, on April 13, 1952. He was a son of Keith and Phyllis (Fordyce; present surname, Harris) Bean.

Education

Gregory Bean was a graduate of University of Wyoming, Bachelor of Arts (with honors) in 1975 and Master of Arts in 1977.

Career

From 1978 to 1980 Mr. Bean firstly served as a reporter for Wyoming News, Cody, WY, and later became an associate editor. During 1980-1983 he held the post at Howard Publications, Casper, WY, as police reporter for Casper Star Tribune, and the took the position of an assistant city editor. In 1983-1985 Gregory Bean worked as an editor of Wyoming Horizons.

During 1985-1986 he was an editor of Freeport Journal Standard, Freeport, IL, from 1986 till 1991 Mr. Bean resumed his office at Community Newspapers Co., Boston, MA, editor of North Shore Sunday, Danvers, MA, and Region, Ipswich, MA, in 1990-1991, Merrimack Valley Sunday, 1991-1992, and Seacoast Sunday, 1991-1992, editor for the parent company since 1992. In 1993 he was appointed executive editor of Greater Media Newspapers, East Brunswick, NJ. Between 1979 and 1985 he was an instructor at University of Wyoming.
