Deshefy, Gregory Scott was born on March 8, 1952 in Fortress Monroe Hampton Rds, Virginia, United States. Son of Eugene Ernest Junior and Barbara Ruth (Retoske) Deshefy.


Bachelor of Science Biology, Rensselaer Polytech. Institute, Troy, New York, 1974. Master of Science Zoology, Clemson University, South Carolina, 1978.

Doctor of Philosophy study in Zoology/Behavioral Ecology, Clemson University, South Carolina, 1982.


Lecturer Clemson University, South Carolina, 1976—1982. Professor, lecturer Middlesex Community College, Middletown, Connecticut, 1982—1988. Scientist environmental protection department State of Connecticut, Hartford, since 1982.

Member New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission, Lowell, Massachusetts, since 1984, chair committee on impact of Ethanol in motor fuel, Massachusetts, 2002. Lecturer on animal rights and environmental ethics.
