Grigoriy ATABEKOV, USSR Electronic engineer. Doctor of Technology Science; Professor; Head, Chair of Theoretical Principles of Electronic Engineering, Moscow Aviation Institute, since 1946; member, Editor Board, journal “Izvestiya vysshikh uchebnykh zavedeniy (Energetika)” (News of Higher Educational Institutions. Power Engineering) and “Izobretatelstvo USSR” (Invention in the USSR), since 1957.
Education
1930 graduate Electr Engineer Faculty, Tbilisi Polytech Institute.
Career
Until 1935 senior engineering, Transcaucasian Oblast Power Board. Simultaneously instructor, Transcaucasian Institute of Indiana. From 1935 senior engineering, Moscow Oblast Power Board, Thermoelectr Power Plant Design Agency, and Centr Electr Engineer Research Laboratory.
From 1938 associate professor, Moscow Institute of Power Engineer. From 1945 worked for Centr Research Laboratory', Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Ministry of Power Plants. From 1946 head, Chair of Theoretical Principles of Electr Engineer, Moscow Institute of Aviation.
1955-1959 member, Electr Engineer Expert Commission, Higher Certification Commission, Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Ministry of Higher Education. Author of over 100 sci works and about 40 inventions in the field of electr engineering
