Career
In 2014 he was ranked 8th richest in Vietnam. He holds shares that are worth 1800 billion VND. He earned a bachelor"s degree from Vietnam University of Commerce and a masters from Columbia Commonwealth University. He is a Doctor of Business Administration at Paramount University of Technology.
From 1993 to 1997 he was director of Binh Minh Private Enterprise.
From 1997 to 2001 he was the General Director of VNT Company, Limited. From 2001 to 2003 he was the General Director of VietCans Joint Venture company and from 2003 to 2004 he was the Vice Chairman of Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Rural of Hai Duong.
From 2004 to 2007 he was the Chairman of Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Rural of Hai Duong. Since 2007 he has been working as the Chairman of Ocean Group Joint Stock Company.
On 24/10/2014, he was arrested on suspicion of lending fraud.
