Education
He finished his secondary education at Galatasaray High School and high school education at Robert College in Istanbul.
Career
Dormen is of Turkish Cypriot descent. He moved to Istanbul with his family in his early childhood. Then he went to the United States of America for a university degree and graduated from the theatre department at Yale University.
Having finished his education he returned to Turkey and started his theatrical career at "Küçük Sahne" which was directed by Muhsin Ertuğrul.
