Harendra Acharya graduated from the Banaras Hindu University in 1932. Then, in 1934 he obtained M.Sc at Banaras Hindu University. In 1942 he became D. Sc after graduating from Calcutta University. And soon, in 1948 Kumar Acharya graduated from London Univrsity, receiving Ph.D.
Career
From 1942 till 1944 Kumar Harendra was a research scholar at Board of Scientific and Industrial Research in India. In 1949 he worked with Sir J.C. Bose on different researches at Bose Research Institute in Calcutta. Since 1949 he had been working for Ministry of Defence as a Senior Scientific Officer at Defence Science Organization in New Delhi. That year he also became a member of Member Indian Science Congress Association.
