Florist, Sheridan & Bell, San Francisco, 1948-1958; teacher biology, physiology, art, Oakland (California) Public Schools, 1952-1982; science department head, McClymond's High School, Oakland, 1965-1974; garden designer, private practice, San Francisco Bay area, since 1970. Garden writer various publications, since 1977. Lecturer various California Garden Clubs, 1976-1980.
