Studied at Merchant Taylors’ School.
After some years’ residence in Devonshire, came to London and settled down to journalistic work. Joined the staff of the Globe, writing By the Way with Mr. Kay Robinson; subsequently became editor of that column, and while so engaged wrote for the Times, Morning Post, Punch, World, and Pall Mall Magazine.
In 1904 became a Special Correspondent to the Daily Mail, and for two years wrote only for that paper and its sister publications. During early part of 1906 wTote for Westminster Gazette and Strand Magazine. Since then has been a free-lance. Author and journalist.
