He opened his first office at Little Falls, N. Y. After three years of practice there Mr. Cook moved to Buffalo in 1912 where he formed a partnership with Paul F. Mann and continued that association until 1920. In later years he maintained an independent office.
Mr. Cook was widely known as a specialist in designing bank buildings, with many such structures built from his plans throughout the state, notable examples of which were at Syracuse and Pittsburgh. In Buffalo he was the architect of three churches and the Scottish Rite Temple (1925) also Masonic Temples at Lockport and Little Falls, N. Y., and many residences in various locations.
