Head music department California State Polytechnic U., 1936-1973, also director college glee clubs, vocal ensembles, bands. Adjudicator, guest conductor San Luis Obispo County Choral Festival, 1957. Active fund raising drives Boy Scouts American, Salvation Army, American Red Cross H.P. Davidson Music Center at California Polytechnic State University named in his honor, 1973.
