Education
Harry G. Critchfield studied at San Francisco State University, where he obtained both a bachelor's (1962) and a master's (1967) degree.
Career
Harry G. Critchfield was a photography instructor and director of the Media Center (1972) at the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland and has been head of their Photography Department since 1975. Previously he taught photography at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas (1970-1972), and at Fort Bragg High School in California (1967-1968).
