He received a formal education at Harvard, graduating with the class of 1904, and in 1907 returned to the University to do post-graduate work in Architecture. Later, (1909-10) Mr. Little studied in Paris at the Atiier Duquesne.
He entered the Boston office of Cram & Ferguson. Durinq the five year period the young man continued in the employ of that well-known firm.
Opening an office in Boston in 1916 Mr. Little carried on work under his own name until 1920 when he formed a partnership with Philip H Frohman and E. Donald Robb. The firm established an early reputation in church design,, with the Episcopal Cathedral at Baltimore and the National Episcopal Cathedral at Washington, D. C. among the outstanding achievements of Mr Little and his colleagues. They were also architects of Trinity College Chapel at Hartford, Conn., considered one of the finest examples of pure Gothic design m the state.
