The firm originated in 1932 with John T. Armstrong and became Armstrong & Hoffman in 1947 when Harry O. Hoffman, Junior joined the firm. Mr. Hoffman died in 1981.
John T. Armstrong, Junior joined the firm in 1965 as did Edward E. Patten, Junior in 1978. J. Cliff Thomas, Junior began practice in 1975 in Crystal Springs and joined the firm in 1986. Howard O. Leach began practice in 1969 with Shell Oil Company and joined the firm in 1988.
