Career
Worked as an employee of the Kobunkan Publishing House in Tokyo for 15 years since 1872 before he started his own book distribution agency. Founded the Rikugokan Publishing Company (1894). He was a director of many other publishing agencies and a leader of the publishing circles for many years.
