Helena studied at the Universities of Bern at the faculty of Law in Bern, Switzerland in 1991. In five years he was a student of the Universities of Basel in Basel, Switzerland. He received a degree of the Doctor of Philosophy. Helen knows some languages: German, Italian, French, English, and dialect.
Career
Helena worked at Sganzini Bernasconi Peter & Gaggini (Lugano) specializing in Insolvency Law, Company Law, Commercial Law, Trust, Estate and Inheritance Law, Banking and Finance Services, National and International Tax Law, Litigation and Arbitration, EC Law, Contract Law, Sports and Entertainment, Joint Ventures, Licensing and Franchising, Mergers & Acquisitions, Intellectual Property, Administrative Law, Family Law, Wills, Criminal Law, Business Criminal Law, International Mutual Assistance in Civil, Tax and Criminal Law, Notary Public, Property and Real Estate Property. Admitted to the bar, 1991, Switzerland. Established in 1954 by Doctor Carlo Sganzini, the firm has grown progressively to become a leading law firm with an intense international activity.
It consists of four partners and a total of about 20 lawyers. Two of the partners are members of the professorial staff of the Universities of Zürich, St. Gallen, Milan and Geneva respectively and cooperate with several Swiss and foreign law reviews. One of the partners is internationally known as a leading specialist in money laundering and assets tracing issues and has been State Attorney in Lugano for 48 years.
The clients' basis is both national and international and the firm offers a wide general practice along various areas of specialization, inter alia in bank, company, tax, business law in general as well as in financial and criminal matters and sports law.
