Henri Salomon Havdala was born on April 12, 1931 in Minia, Egypt. He came to the United States in 1957 and naturalized in 1963.

Education

Henri Salomon Havdala received his bachelor of science degree from St. Mark College in 1948 and bachelor of medicine, bachelor of surgery degrees from the University of Alexandria in 1956.

Career

Henri Salomon Havdala is professor and chairman of anesthesiology at Chicago Medical School. He serves on the board of directors of State Medical Insurance Exchange (Illinois) and Mount Sinai Hospital since 1977. Since 1992 he works as a consultant in North Chicago VA.
