Henry Fairbanks was an American theologist, professor of natural philosophy, natural history. Identified with E. & T. Fairbanks & Company, manufacturers of scales, etc., since 1868. Has received more than 30 patents on various devices. Trustee of Dartmouth College, President of St. Johnsbury Academy. Member of National and International Congressional councils.

Father of Arthur F. Ordained Congleton ministry, 1857. In pastorates, 1857-1860. Professor natural philosophy, 1859-1865, natural history, 1865-1868, Dartmouth.
