Admitted partner in successors, Wilson, Hinkle, & Company, 1874. Remained partner with successors, Van Antwerp, Bragg & Company, whose business was bought by American Book Company, 1890. Removed to New York; director and editor-in-chief, 1890-1907, vice president, 1904-1911, American Book Company In 1877 planned and directed preparation of Ray’s New Arithmetics, and in 1878 directed and edited preparation of McGuffey’s Revised Readers.
Also many other school books. Retired from business, 1911.
