Now Hooker, Alley & Duncan (since May 1, 1944). Former member Squadron A, New York National Guard. Attended 1st Plattsburg T.C., 1915, Plum Island T.C., 1916.

Commissioned major United States Army, 1917, and assigned to staff of General Leonard Wood. Went to France, May 1918, as assistant division adjunct 33d Division, American Expeditionary Force. Acting division adjunct at British front, May-August 1918, battles of Hamel and Gressaire Wood.

Served with 33d Division at St. Mihiel, Argonne-Meuse offensive, and in Troyon sector. Cited for “exceptionally meritorious and conspicuous services,” also for “gallantry in action.” Chevalier of the Legion of Honor (France). Chevalier Order of the Crown (Belgium).

Conspicuous Service Cross (New York). Order of the Purple Heart and Medal of Silver Star (United States).
