Career
Herb Taylor was the editor-in-chief of the American Photographic Book Publishing Co. (Amphoto), Garden City, New York in 1980. In 1975 Taylor's book The Lobster: Its Life Cycle, was selected by the New York Academy of Sciences as one of the best science books for children published that year. Taylor's documentary-style depicts the ecology of different environments.
