Became professor of Higher School Course of Meiji-Gakuin College; served as professor of Hiroshima Higher School;3rd Higher School;dean of Kyoto University; professor of 1st Higher School;director of School Education Bureau of Education Ministry (1946). Became Vice-Minister of Education from which post he retired after one and half year of service and was appointed to present post.
