Hidemichi Oka

Background

Hidemichi Oka was born in 1902 in Tokyo, Japan. His father is Asajiro, a zoologist, and his younger brother, Naomichi, an expert on zoological psychology.

Education

Graduated from Tokyo Univeesity in 1927 where he studied biology. Went to Germany in 1927 for study.

Career

Hidemichi Oka was a professor at the Tokyo University of Education. He wrote books on biological and zoological subjects.

Membership

Belongs to the Democratic Scientists League and the Japan Esperanto Association.
