Uchida, Hirohisa was born on November 25, 1949 in Tokyo. Son of Hideo and Hisako (Takahashi) University.


Bachelor Engineering, Tokai University, Tokyo, 1973. Master Engineering, Tokai University, Tokyo, 1975. Doctor of Science, University Stuttgart, Germany, 1977.


Researcher Max-Planck-Institute for Metals Research, Stuttgart, 1975-1981. Assistant professor Tokai University, Hiratsuka, 1981-1984, associate professor, 1984-1990, professor, since 1990. Supermagnetic materials research project leader Kanagawa Academy of Sciences and Technology, Kawasaki, Japan, 1990-1994.
