Assistant professor, associate, then professor Tokyo Metropolitan College of Technology, 1972-1986. Professor, chairman department aeronautical engineering Tokyo Metropolitan University, since 1986. Advisory board Tokyo Metropolitan Government, since 1991.

Chairman Japan Research Group on Control of Space Structures, since 1985, Working Group for Space Robot Forum, Tokyo, 1988-1990. Member board governors IPSI, since 2004.
