Hirose Hideo was borrn in 1909.
Served as chief technician of the photographic section of the Tokyo Astronomical Observatory and was appointed professor of Tokyo University. During the above period, received the prize from the Japan Astronomy Academy for his re-discovery of the Daniel Cornet. Also granted Research Fund for such research work as "Observation of Variable Stars" and "Calculation of the Conduct Regulation of Minor Planets." Besides the above subjects, published a number of research articles concerning the photographic observation of positions of comets and minor planets. In 1948, visited Reibun Island in Hokkaido to observe the solar eclipse.
