Hiroshi served as en­gineer at Fisheries Experiment Station of Government-General of Formosa and tech­nical official at Fisheries Experiment Sta­tion of Agriculture and Forestry Ministry and thereafter served as director of Nankai District Fisheries Research Institute of Fisheries Agency.

Achievements

• Noted for his research­es on habitudes and eating habits of tuna, marlin and other fishes and recognized authority on tuna in this country.
