Appointed assistant professor (1938) and then professor (1944) of his almamater. Achieved note in study of vegetable dye pigment and other branches of physiological chemistry of vegetables. Received degree in science (1932) for researches on "Preserved Saccharoid in Seeds of Pinus Thumbergii" and other subjects was awarded Education Ministry’s subsidy for scientific researches for 1951. Numerous works include "Vegetable Pigment", "Life and Matter", etc.
