Career
After graduating from Hokkaido University, he became assistant professor of same (1920). Went to Germany and France for study (1923), and became professor at his alma mater upon his return to Japan. Together with Katsunosuke Yaraagiwa, he proved that cancer can be generated with artificial stimuli alone.
