Career
Entered Yomiuri Shimbun (1932) and served at its Sales Department. Transferred to San-in Shimbun (Newspaper) as chief of its Business Department and later became chief of its Shipping Department (1948). Later rejoined Yomiuri Shimbun and became Vice-director of Business Bureau and director of Calculation Department.
