Career
Ichiro Shirai became director of Nihon Alcohol Company (1938), president of Toa Brewing Company and Showa Sangyo Kaisha (Showa Inustrial Company) (1940), manager of Hiroshima Prefectural Sake Brewers Union (1941), auditor of Kure Soy Manufacturing Company (1946) and served as official of many other brewing and foodstuff companies and organizations.
President of Chugoku Jozo Kaisha (Chugoku Brewing Company) (since 1931) and Nihon Shokuhin Kaisha (Japan Foodstuff Company) (since 1947).
