She is half of the electropop duo Ask Embla, with fellow Icelandic producer and songwriter Arnthor Birgisson. Wroldsen lives in London. Wroldsen began writing songs for American artists to branch out of Norway and reach larger markets.
She usually begins writing songs that start from a word or phrase, then she adds the melody and how the verses and chorus will feel.
Wroldsen formed a band called Ask Embla in the summer of 2011. Her manager is Mark Ellwood.
She released the solo singles, "Aliens" and "Rebels" in 2014 and 2015 respectively. In 2015 she wrote the song "How Deep Is Your Love" by Calvin Harris and Disciples, in addition to providing uncredited vocals on lieutenant
