Education
She graduated from secondary school in the city of Ostrogozhsk in 1956, the Technology Department of the Moscow Textile Institute in 1961.
Career
Inessa Volkovaya is the principal architect of international exhibitions in Sokolniki from 1970 till 1973, the head of the department of exhibitions and advertising of the USSR Ministry of Aviation Industry from 1973 till 1990. Since the mid-1980s she works in the technique of painting on fabric. She is the constant participant of creative competitions "Women - artists of Russia".
Personal exhibitions of Volkova's works took place in the cultural center "Women of Russia" in Moscow, 1997, in I.N. Kramskoy Ostrogozhsky Museum of History and Art in 2005. In September 2005, Inessa Volkovaya participated together with the Moscow writer L.Ya. Vasilyeva in the celebration of the Ostrogozhsk City Day.
