Advokatene Haavind & Haga is the result of the merger in 1991 of Advokatene Haavind medical Flere and Advokatene Haga. Wahlstrom & Company (established in 1893 and1946 respectively). The firm is a broadly based commercial firm, handling most aspects of work.
The firm has close links and associations with similar practises worldwide, particularly in Scandinavia.
The firm is loosely organised into departments headed by one or two of the 18 partners. However, the majority of the partners have experience in most aspects of the firm"s practice.
The commercial side of the practice has always been broad, and there is a considerable amount of work undertaken in all areas of general commercial law, particularly in company and tax law, intellectual property, competition and construction law, banking and finance and labour law.
