He also was a director of Tung Wa Hospital, secretary of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and director of Po Leung Kok in Hong Kong. Mr. Chuen held the position of a delegate of Chinese merchants of Hong Kong to participate in the London Exhibition of 1924.
Mr. Chuen also took the folllowing posts: justice of the Peace of Hong Kong, director of Canton Fong Bin Hospital, worker of the Finance Committee of St. John Ambulance Brigade, chairman of Chinese Manufacturers' Union in Hong Kong. He acted as a managing director of Kwong Man Lung Fire-Crackers Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
