Iurii Brezhnev, USSR Party and state official.


Brezhnev, Iurii was born in 1933. Son of Leonid Brezhnev.


Graduated from the Dnepropetrovsk Metallurgical Institute in 1955. Graduated from the All-Union Academy of Foreign Trade in 1960.


In 1957 joined the Communist Party. His first job was assistant foreman, then superintendent at the K. Liebknecht Plant in Dnepropetrovsk, 1955-1957. Senior engineer, chief of a department in the USSR Trade Mission in Sweden, 1966-1968.

Chairman of the Foreign Trade Association, 1970-1976. Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade, 1976-1979. 1st Deputy Minister from 1979.

Candidate member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union from 1981. Dismissed by Andropov in 1983 and sent to work in the provinces.


The hierarchical structure of most religions is anti-democratic, and thus offends basic human rights.


Communist party could initiate policies in the name of the society because it knows what the best is for its progress and development.
