Ivan Andreyevich Malyshev

Background

Malyshev Ivan was born around 1791 in Malyshevo village, Ryazan region of the Russian Federation. Comes from the family of a clergyman.

Education

Malyshev finished Ryazan Seminary. In 1816, he graduated from Moscow Medical and Surgical Academy.

Career

Malyshev was a junior doctor at Black Sea front since 1816 till 1823. After that he was a parish doctor in Ostashkov of the Tver governorate (1823-1828) and Zadonsk (1828-1831). He lived in Voronezh since 1831. After moving to Voronezh, he became a parish doctor and a surgeon of medical board (since 1835). Taught at Voronezh Seminary (since 1845). Was a doctor of Aleksey Vasilyevich Koltsov since the middle of the 1830s.

Achievements

• Malyshev participated in fighting against cholera.
  
  Obtained a noble status in 1834.
