Head of a department at the Electrotechnical Institute, 1956-1964. Director, 1964-1973. Deputy chairman, and later 1st deputy chairman of the USSR State Committee for Inventions and Discoveries, 1973-1979. Chairman from January 1979.
Member of the Central Auditing Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. 1981. As chairman of the State Committee for Inventions and Discoveries, called for better utilization of inventions in the fields of technology, materials and production.
