Evangelistic work in the United States, 1895-1906. Visited foreign lands and lectured in the United States between tours, 1906-1914. Special lecturer Board Foreign Missions Methodist Episcopal Church, 1914-1921.

Returned to lecture platform. Writer on missionary, travel and history topics. Conceived and organized the Church Chautauqua.
