Achievements include defining the modes of inhibition of protein synthesis by the antiobiotics fusidic acid and thiostrepton and by the protein toxins diphtheria and ricin. Grantee National Institutes of Health, since 1969; senior fellow American Cancer Society, 1973-1974. Member American Association for the Advancement of Science, American Society Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
