Career
He then had various small roles, mostly in British Broadcasting Corporation Children"s programmes until 2001 when he appeared for one season in the series "Manchild", where he played the character Wayne. The next year he played the role of Jamie walker in the British television series The Bill and had a minor part in the film "Shooters". In 2002 Sweeney was cast in the CBBC sitcom series Kerching!, as the main character"s sidekick Danny.
Sweeney went on the star in all four seasons of the show.
During his time on Kerching! he returned to The Bill playing a different character called Darren Martin. Most recently Sweeney has appeared on the British Broadcasting Corporation Three 2007 sketch show "Touch Maine, I"m Karen Taylor" playing school boy Kevin, the target of his teacher"s flirtatious advances.
