Career
She was born March 10, 1832, at Washington County, Pennsylvania. During her husband"s term, in 1875, the capital was relocated from Charleston to Wheeling, despite her husband"s legal efforts to keep the seat in Charleston. After leaving office, the Jacobs remained in Wheeling, West Virginia.
She died at Wheeling on February 22, 1903.
