She has appeared in over a dozen feature films. January has appeared in many television series, including: Touched by an Angel (Columbia Broadcasting System), Promised Land (Columbia Broadcasting System), Remember Maine (Public Broadcasting Service), Death Row (Public Broadcasting Service), The Manitoba With Three Wives (the Norman Grayson story), Harmful Intent (National Broadcasting Company), Siege at Marion (National Broadcasting Company), Deliver Them from Evil: The Taking of Alta View (Columbia Broadcasting System), Ancient Secrets of the Bible (Columbia Broadcasting System Miniseries). Perhaps her most notable role was in the World Bank series Everwood as Nurse Louise.
January is a veteran stage actress and has had starring roles in the following: The Sound of Music (Tuacahn Theatre), I Do! I Do! (Sundance Theatre), Jane Eyre (Glendale Center), My Fair Lady (Scera Theatre), Carousel (Idaho State University), Trixie True Teen Detective (Brigham Young University), and Number Number Nanette (Playmill).
Broberg was kidnapped when she was twelve. She has written a book entitled Stolen Innocence: The January Broberg story about the experience.
