With the help of a ragtag collection of in-laws, a pig named Alfred and a dog named Dog, the sleuthing Tracer Family sets out on their second comedic adventure. Jeff was born on 19th March 1947 in King City, California, United States. He's a son of Len Hughes (a doctor) and Kathleen (Harney) Andrus.
Jeff attended University of Natal in Durban, South Africa and then he graduated from Stanford University and got the Bachelor of Arts degree.
Jeff worked as a novelist and television writer beginning in 1972 at The Writing Company, then he moved to University of California at Los Angeles Extension Program and was a instructor of writing during the years 1991-1992 and finally he became a speaker and panelist at the same place in 1993.
Additionally, Andrus wrote and made a cameo appearance in the 2004 Award-Winning short film The Proverb along with Scott Waara and Nancy Stafford.
