In 1996 Jeffrey studied at Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, United States. In 2000 he became a Bachelor of Arts in the area of economics. In 1988 he was a student of the London School of Economics in London, United Kingdom. In a year he graduated from it.
After graduating from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, United States in 2000 Jeffrey spent eight years with Goldman Sachs as a specialist and trader on the NYSE. He was entrusted with being long or short up to $100 million of market capital on any given day. During that time, he gained expertise in strategies to hedge and manage tail risk.
Jeffrey decided to move from trading to advisory and spent almost six years with Merrill Lynch. He attained professional designations of Certified Financial Planner, Certified Investment Management Analyst and Chartered Financial Consultant (Disclosure - Not Renewed nor actively using any of the three marks). Jeffrey is a candidate for Level II of the CFA. That experience led to the founding of Battery Private in New York, United States in 2016, which is focused on investing as principal throughout various asset classes and opportunities.
