Jeffrey Allan Homburg, American Geoarchaeologist, soil scientist. Achievements include development of techniques for evaluating the long-term effects of prehistoric cultivation on soil fertility, remote sensing and archaeological recovery methods for forensic investigations; reconstruction of the depositional history of Louisiana State University Campus Mounds, one of the earliest known Indian mounds in North America.
