Jeffrey Lance Anderson, American Cardiologist, educator. Achievements include first randomized trial to show benefit of thrombolytic therapy in heart attacks, to show possible benefit of beta blockers in heart failure; investigation of land mark cardiac arrhythmiasuppression trial; development of multiple pharmacologic agents to treat arrhythmias, heart attacks, heart failure. Recipient numerous federal, local and industrial grants, since 1980.
